Welcome your boat exchange partner in person or make sure that your "proxy" will do it for you in case you are absent.

Entrust your exchange partner with a clean boat in a state of seaworthiness that complies with safety regulations.

Take good care of your exchange partner's boat.

Sail your exchange partner's boat in accordance with maritime common sense.

Preserve the environment.

Take good care of the navigational devices and living amenities so that they remain operational.

Prepare a file containing all useful documents (electronics, engines and other apparatus/systems requiring information prior to operation).

Allow guests to bring and stow their personal effects on board.

Inform your partner's insurance in case of damage/accident.

Return the boat in the same state as it was at departure.

Communicate an assessment of the exchange shortly after completion.
